Anne Hallecker is a creative autodidact who paints and designs not only oversize but also very small canvas. Her current theme is “the female head”. Her “female heads” have a flawless face that is only insinuated. The red lips say: Look at me! Her imagination is infinite when it comes to the composition of the “tuft”. She is always experimenting with collages by using fine and flat and also rough and overlying materials. The tuft of the flawless face is covered with new, used or recycled components so that a composition of collages is formed. Sometimes consumed, used or read components can be recognized – letters tumble around, dots invite to take a closer look and tell stories. The combination of flawlessness and fractions was successful. The finished portrait can be considered with a wink of an eye.
